Short and To-The-Point Mini Article SeriesYou don't have to be an expert but you do need to have adequate level of knowledge and education to effectively engage in a dialogue or to defend your point of view in a particular topic or subject.
Just because you heard someone telling a story or sharing their own experience on a particular topic/subject, it does not mean that you are now a subject matter expert. Being informed does not mean being knowledgeable. You must study, self-educate yourself on whichever topic or subject that you are interested to learn more about. What this mean is that you must invest time and energy into seeking tools and resources to expand your understanding and knowledge in whatever you may be interested in - ex. reading books, enrolling and completing self-paced training courses online or in-person, observe and take notes, etc. The point is that in order for you to acquire adequate level of knowledge in anything, you must be ready and willing to learn.

Short and To-the-Point Mini Article SeriesStress cannot be completely eliminated from our lives. Stress is always present because we are alive, we interact with the world, with environment, and with people around us. Something in daily interaction that we have has a tendency to cause some level of stress. Why? Our expectation for ourselves and others to know or to be able to find answers and/or solutions to problems or challenging situations that we run into daily. When we do not have an answer immediately to whatever we may be facing, it causes our stress level to increase. Then, once the solution is found, the stress level returns to where it was before the event or situation in question. Therefore, don't try to avoid the stress, but instead, look for ways and opportunity to address and resolve stressful situation, put it behind you, and move on with life. Once resolved, there's no reason to stress over it any more. Do not allow the stress to control your life. You are in control.
Short and To-The-Point Article SeriesDon't try to be the 'Number 1,' instead, try to improve yourself, your skills, knowledge, and mindset, little more each day without the end date.
When we focus on our personal and professional growth and development each day, when we seek new pieces of knowledge each day, we grow. When we focus on reaching that 'Number 1' spot and we do everything we can to get there, once reached, we stop. Why? Because in our mind our goal has been met and there is nothing more that we need or can do to learn and/or improve on. In a way we check the box in a fixed mindset and nothing more. However, when we focus on learning something new and on improving ourselves daily, our growth and development never stops. Short and To-The-Point Article SeriesPractice does not make it perfect, but it does make you better. There's no such thing as being perfect at anything, because we as human beings have positive and negative qualities, good and bad habits, we just choose not to talk about the negative ones. So, with that in mind, when we establish a new habit or process, we start of at the beginning when we not that great and still have a lot to learn through practice and repetition. Sure, some of us may have some natural talents, but that still does not make us perfect in whatever activity or task we may engage in. Therefore, even though we could never get perfect in any activity, sport, habit, we can definitely get better each day through hard work and practice, until we reach a level where we feel great about our accomplishment and can help others who would like to reach similar level of still and competence.
